Experts and commentators have weighed in on the new trailer for Meghan Markle’s Love With Meghan Netflix series, with some calling it a “fabrication” and a “fantasy,” far removed from the reality of her life. GB News presenter Stephen Dixon was particularly critical of the trailer, stating that the depiction of Meghan’s daily life is nothing more than a manufactured fantasy for the streaming platform.

“I mean, because it’s all totally fake, isn’t it?” Dixon began, questioning the authenticity of the content. He continued, pointing out that the lifestyle shown in the trailer is unrealistic, saying, “It’s not her house, it’s not her kitchen. She clearly doesn’t spend her days picking strawberries and collecting honey from bees.” Dixon went on to further express his doubts, adding, “I mean, the whole thing is just a fabrication, it’s Netflix fantasy, isn’t it?”

However, not all experts shared this critical perspective. GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker offered a different viewpoint, suggesting that the trailer is actually in line with Meghan’s long-held passions and interests. He pointed out that Meghan has always been interested in wellness, food, and lifestyle content. “But this is Meghan’s dream come true, isn’t it?” he asked. “Before she even met Prince Harry, her passion was sharing recipe tips, lifestyle wellness techniques because she had a blog. Quite a successful blog actually called The Tig.”

Walker also recalled that Meghan’s blog, The Tig, had to be shut down when she became a working member of the Royal Family. He acknowledged the challenges she faced after stepping away from royal duties, also known as “Megxit,” but noted that now Meghan and Prince Harry have moved past those difficulties, securing lucrative multi-million-pound deals with Netflix and other platforms. “This is the proof in the pudding, pardon the pun,” Walker remarked, reflecting on the couple’s post-royal success.

While Dixon’s remarks about the show’s authenticity were blunt, Walker’s perspective highlighted that for Meghan, the series represents a return to the interests that first made her a well-known figure outside her royal title. The debate over the trailer illustrates the contrasting views on Meghan’s new ventures and the image she is crafting for herself after leaving the royal family.
