Prince Harry found himself in an amusing yet awkward exchange with a Ukrainian athlete at the Invictus Games in Canada when questioned about his royal status. The Duke of Sussex, along with his wife, Meghan Markle, has been in the spotlight since their arrival in Vancouver for the event. Harry has been in high spirits, engaging warmly with athletes and their families, as reported by The Mirror.

However, one lighthearted moment turned slightly uncomfortable when an athlete from the Ukrainian team directly asked him, “Are you really a prince?” “Yes, I am,” Harry responded. The athlete then followed up with a playful jab: “Where is your crown?” The Duke took the moment in stride, laughing and leaning in to embrace the athlete, according to The Mirror.
The exchange comes amid reports that King Charles is facing increasing pressure from senior royal aides to remove Harry from his will. “A lot of people in royal circles feel Prince Harry does not deserve a dime, and they’re leaning on Charles to cut him off,” a source told New Idea Magazine.

They added, “Charles wrote his will long ago, but certain family members and courtiers are strongly urging him to update the document so as not to include Harry.” Harry’s relationship with the royal family has remained strained since he stepped back from his royal duties in 2020.

The latest reports suggest that tensions continue to mount, with speculation over whether Charles will bow to pressure and formally exclude his youngest son from future financial benefits. For now, Harry seems focused on his work with the Invictus Games, an event he founded to support injured veterans. While royal drama continues in the background, the Duke remains committed to the athletes and the cause that has long been close to his heart.
