Trump Demands CIA Involvement After New Orleans Attack and Tesla Explosion: ‘Our Country is a Disaster’

Donald Trump ended his New Year’s Day with a series of scathing comments on Truth Social, following a chaotic start to the year that saw an attack in New Orleans and an explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside his Las Vegas hotel. Both events appeared to unsettle the president-elect, prompting him to lash out at various political entities and demand that the CIA intervene in domestic affairs.
In a late-night post, Trump directed his ire toward Democrats, the FBI, the DOJ, and law enforcement, laying blame for the nation’s troubles squarely at their feet. He wrote, “Our Country is a disaster, a laughing stock all over the World! This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership.
The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job. They are incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.”
The comments, steeped in accusations and frustration, continued as Trump expressed his belief that the Democrats were responsible for the deteriorating situation in the country. “Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen to our Country. The CIA must get involved, NOW, before it is too late.
The USA is breaking down – A violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy is taking place all across our Nation. Only strength and powerful leadership will stop it. See you on January 20th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he wrote.
As the hours passed, Trump doubled down on his narrative, asserting his rightness in a later post. At approximately 1 AM, he wrote simply, “TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!”
These statements reflect Trump’s ongoing critique of his political opponents, as well as his belief that drastic measures are needed to restore order and safety in the United States. As his inauguration date approaches, it seems clear that his combative approach to leadership and national security will be a central theme of his administration.
