“JLo Is Getting PTSD Over It”: Jennifer Lopez Avoids Questions About Diddy Amid Legal Troubles
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly steering clear of any media queries about her ex-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, as she struggles with the stress and anxiety his name now brings. “Jennifer is ignoring all questions about Diddy,” a source told the OK.
The insider added that Lopez, who dated Combs from 1999 to 2001, is deeply unsettled by the renewed attention surrounding him, particularly following his arrest for alleged involvement in sexual trafficking, prostitution, and sexual assault cases.
“Lopez is at the point now where she’s getting PTSD over it,” the source revealed. “It’s no secret they had a very volatile relationship, but she doesn’t want to talk about it and is desperately hoping it will all just go away.”
The source noted Lopez’s growing anxiety about being drawn into the legal proceedings. “She’s terrified about when this will all end as far as her involvement goes,” the insider added. “She’ll be formally interrogated.”
Speculation has swirled about whether Lopez knew about Combs’ alleged misconduct during their time together, but some who worked closely with her have come to her defense.
The de Sousa, who collaborated with Lopez on Maid in Manhattan, told the outlet that Lopez was likely unaware of Combs’ alleged actions. “If you knew Jennifer Lopez, if you ever worked with her like I did, or if you were close with people who are like family to her like I am, you would know she did not have any idea about Diddy,” de Sousa said.
She further emphasized Lopez’s focus on her work and clean lifestyle: “JLo barely drinks, she is not a partier, she isn’t a good-time girl. She is a workaholic who uplifts women and who was charmed by him for a brief time in her life.” Meanwhile, Combs is awaiting his trafficking trial, scheduled for May 2025.
For now, Lopez appears determined to distance herself from the controversy, maintaining silence as she focuses on her career and family while grappling with the emotional toll of her past association with Combs.
