Demi Moore broke her silence on Instagram after online backlash over allegedly ignoring Kylie Jenner at the 2025 Golden Globes. The 62-year-old actress posted a celebratory photo of herself holding her first-ever Golden Globe, flashing a wide, open-mouth grin.
Moore won the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) for her role in the horror film The Substance.
“Woke up this morning still in shock but full of so much joy, love, and gratitude for this honor and recognition,” Moore captioned her post on Monday. “I am so deeply humbled and the little girl in me is saying F*** YEAH! Thank you for your support and kind words, and thank you @goldenglobes.”
The milestone was celebrated by Moore’s friends and family, including her three daughters—Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30—whom she shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis. The trio shared their reactions on Instagram, posting heartfelt messages and videos of them watching the ceremony at home.
“What a gift to witness you shine and be acknowledged not only for the incredible work you did in this film but in the multitude of staggeringly breathtaking work your entire career,” Rumer wrote in her Instagram Stories. “This is just the beginning.”
Scout expressed her excitement, writing, “I am so beyond proud, my entire body is buzzing. I am so overwhelmed with joy and pride and gratitude!!”
Tallulah added her own tribute, calling her mother the “greatest teacher.” She also addressed the viral video of Moore allegedly snubbing Kylie Jenner. The clip, which showed Moore appearing not to respond to Jenner’s congratulatory greeting while standing next to her, sparked online criticism. Tallulah dismissed the incident, suggesting it was taken out of context.
The Golden Globes win marks a significant achievement in Moore’s career, highlighting her return to the spotlight.
