A source told US Weekly, “Megan has a lot of love for MGK and is excited that they are going to become parents.” However, their relationship took a turn after Megan reportedly found content on Machine Gun Kelly’s phone that shattered her trust.
“She’s trying to focus on being positive,” another insider shared. “This has happened many times before, but this time hurt even deeper because she is pregnant. She has said she isn’t getting back together with him and is moving on.”
The split comes amid what sources describe as “huge trust issues” that have plagued the couple in the past. Although they have had similar conflicts before, the situation escalated due to Megan’s pregnancy, leaving her feeling unable to rebuild that trust.
For now, Megan is prioritizing herself and her family. “She’s been working a lot this year, so she’s looking forward to spending time with her kids,” the insider revealed, emphasizing her focus on personal growth and family time.
The source also noted that Megan and MGK have had little to no communication in recent days. “They haven’t been in contact this last week, and things are not looking great between them right now.”
Despite the split, Machine Gun Kelly appears to be stepping back to give Megan space and time. “He is really letting Megan lead the way right now and is giving her space,” the source explained.
The couple officially ended things in late November, just a month after sharing their pregnancy news. While their relationship may be “done for now,” insiders suggest that a reconciliation is not entirely off the table. “They could very well be back together at a later time,” the source added.
