Ant Anstead shocks Christina Haack with heartwarming gesture after divorce

Christina Haack’s second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, stunned her with a heartfelt gesture following her split from Josh Hall. Taking to Instagram, the HGTV star shared a teaser for the fourth episode of The Flip Off, where she recalled an unexpected moment of reconciliation with Anstead after her third divorce in July 2024.

Haack revealed that since divorcing Anstead, the father of her third child, five-year-old Hudson, in September 2020, they had “not communicated a lot” due to a contentious custody battle that was finally settled in December 2022.

Despite their past differences, Haack described how Anstead surprised her with an act of kindness when she arrived at his home to pick up their son for a birthday party. “And when I walked up to the door, he gave me a huge hug. We hadn’t hugged in years,” Haack shared with a smile.

“He just said, ‘I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through, and I’m here for you no matter what you need.’” She described the encounter as a “very nice moment,” adding, “We had a long talk after, and we decided to pull all the BS aside and be good co-parents, like Tarek and I, for Hudson.”

Haack, 41, shares two other children, Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. The moment between Haack and Anstead highlights a shift toward a more amicable co-parenting relationship, following years of legal and personal disputes.
