Justin Baldoni Sues Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for £320 Million Amid Legal Battle

In a shocking turn of events, actor and director Justin Baldoni has filed a £320 million lawsuit against his It Ends with Us co-star Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. The legal battle has sent ripples through Hollywood, as Baldoni claims he was targeted in a defamation campaign orchestrated by Lively and her team.
The dispute began in December 2024, when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and attempting to damage her reputation during the production of their film. Now, Baldoni is fighting back with his own legal action against Lively, Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloane, and Vision PR, Sloane’s firm.
Filed on January 16, 2025, in the Southern District of New York, Baldoni’s lawsuit also includes producer Jamey Heath, publicist Jennifer Abel, and crisis PR specialist Melissa Nathan as plaintiffs. His legal team alleges that Lively and her associates disseminated false information to the media in an effort to destroy Baldoni’s reputation, told The Washington Post.
“This lawsuit is a legal action based on an overwhelming amount of untampered evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s duplicitous attempt to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team, and their respective companies,” Baldoni’s lawyer told LADbible. The attorney emphasized that their side has “complete text messages, emails, video footage, and other documentary evidence” to counter Lively’s claims.
The lawyer accused Lively of being either “severely misled by her team” or knowingly misrepresenting facts. “Ms. Lively will never again be allowed to exploit actual victims of real harassment solely for her personal reputation gain at the expense of those without power,” he added.
He further criticized Lively and her team’s alleged manipulation of the media before taking legal action. “Let’s not forget, Ms. Lively and her team attempted to bulldoze reputations and livelihoods for heinously selfish reasons through their own dangerous manipulation of the media. We know the truth, and now the public does too. Justin and his team have nothing to hide; documents do not lie.”
