Stephanie Grisham Reveals Trump’s Alleged Behavior Toward Staffer: ‘Let’s Bring Her Up Here and Look at Her A*s’

Donald Trump’s alleged behavior toward a young female staffer during his presidency is once again under scrutiny, as former press secretary Stephanie Grisham sheds light on the situation in her 2021 book, I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in the White House. Grisham claims that Trump took a “highly unusual interest” in one of the press wranglers on her team, describing his repeated comments about the staffer.

In excerpts shared with The Daily Mail, Grisham recounted how both she and former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin reported Trump’s behavior to his chiefs of staff, including Mark Meadows. Grisham described how, when Kellyanne Conway approached Trump to advocate for a staffer who had been let go, his primary concern was whether Meadows had fired another woman he found attractive.

“Put [the woman] on TV,” Grisham claimed Trump instructed her. “Keep her happy by promoting her.” Grisham also detailed a disturbing incident aboard Air Force One when Trump allegedly said, “Let’s bring her up here and look at her a*s.” Following that, Grisham said she made efforts to exclude the staffer from trips, explaining, “I needed to protect her and, frankly, the president as well.”

On occasions when the staffer did accompany them, Trump would ask Grisham to bring her to his office cabin in the aircraft, a request he rarely made of others. Grisham, feeling uncomfortable, would often stay in the cabin with the staffer, especially when she couldn’t find an excuse to avoid it.

In the book, Grisham also recounts her own unsettling experiences with Trump, including a flight where he asked her then-boyfriend if she was “good in bed.” Additionally, Grisham recalled an instance in the Oval Office when Trump insulted the appearance of E. Jean Carroll, who had accused him of sexual assault, and instructed Grisham on handling such allegations: “You just deny it. That’s what you do in every situation. Right, Stephanie? You just deny it.”

Grisham admitted to contemplating telling Melania Trump about her husband’s behavior but ultimately refrained, feeling it “wasn’t my place or any of my business.” The book also explores Melania’s reactions, or lack thereof, to pivotal moments during Trump’s presidency.

In response, Trump dismissed Grisham’s account, accusing her of bitterness after their working relationship ended. “Stephanie didn’t have what it takes, and that was obvious from the beginning,” he stated, claiming she was paid by a “radical left-leaning publisher” to spread false claims. Grisham resigned on January 6, 2021, the day of the Capitol riot.
