Adele’s fans are voicing frustration over the steep pricing of her limited edition vinyl box set, which includes the full live setlist from her Las Vegas residency. Priced at $349, the collection has sparked backlash from fans, many of whom feel it is out of reach in the current economy.

The vinyl set, announced by Adele on X (formerly Twitter), features a photo book, heart-shaped confetti from her shows, and the entire live setlist. In her announcement, Adele explained, “To commemorate the ending of my residency in Las Vegas, I’m making a limited edition vinyl box set featuring the entire live setlist, a photo book, and even confetti from the show.” She also revealed additional holiday exclusives and a new card game available on her website.

While fans were initially excited, the price tag quickly dampened enthusiasm. One fan lamented on social media, saying it was “cheaper” to fly to Munich and see Adele perform live than to purchase the vinyl. Another compared the cost to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour VIP tickets, noting Adele’s box set was more expensive.

“Now Adele, miss ma’am. $350 in this economy?” another fan wrote. Others pleaded for more affordable options. “Please give us a cheaper vinyl for normal people who can’t afford that,” one social media user begged.

The pricing backlash highlights growing tensions between artists’ exclusive merchandise releases and fans’ financial constraints. While limited edition items like Adele’s vinyl box set are designed for dedicated collectors, the cost has left many fans feeling excluded.

The announcement comes as Adele concludes her Las Vegas residency, which has been a major success both critically and commercially. However, the controversy surrounding the box set’s pricing may overshadow the celebratory nature of the release for some fans.

Despite the outcry, the box set is expected to sell quickly due to its limited edition status. For Adele’s most dedicated followers, the $349 price might be worth it for a piece of memorabilia tied to her iconic residency. For others, the hefty cost remains a barrier, sparking calls for more accessible options that cater to a broader audience.
